Pros: I began using TOPS pellets after my Grey was not eating nutritionally about 15 years ago, YES 15 YRS ago. He is 37 and TOPS is his main staple food. He is happy, healthy and eating all the veggies/fruits I add to his pellets. Winner!!

Cons: After getting my Grey hooked on TOPS brand, all of a sudden I couldn't buy it at BOP or anywhere. I eventually found it online, but so glad BOP is selling it again. My Grey pushes any other pellet out of the cup.

Comments: I understand why my Grey loves TOPS, just open the bag and smell it. All you smell is fresh herbal notes. Some competitors smell like bland dry dog meal. African Greys are not only smart, they are cautious and picky with their food.
